Instructed by Shane D. Dunbar, MEd, PRP, PAP

dunbar@northwest.net.

WHY PARLIAMENTARY PROCEDURE?

Organizations that conduct business meetings should have rules that clarify the proper procedures to follow. Because Robert's Rules of Order Newly Revised is used by most organizations, it will serve as the parliamentary authority for this workshop.

INSTRUCTIONAL METHODS

This is an introductory parliamentary procedure workshop and will be activity oriented. Participants will be guided through the learning process by brainstorming, role playing, and a teaching style that promotes a positive dialogue with the instructor.

WHAT DO YOU PROVIDE?

You are asked to furnish a classroom, an overhead projector, and a screen.

WORKSHOP LENGTH

Five and a half hours of instructional time is recommended for groups of twelve or more participants. Workshops for groups that have fewer than twelve people require considerably less time.

EACH PARTICIPANT WILL RECEIVE A 131-PAGE TEXT-WORKBOOK AND A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

Samples of an agenda, minutes, committee reports, skill building activities, and parliamentary procedure rules and laws will be provided in a 131-page text-workbook (Parliamentary Procedure Made Easy, the Table of Contents is on this web site), which can be used at your meetings as a reference and for instruction. A personalized Certificate of Completion will be awarded to each participant who successfully completes the workshop.

FREE CONSULTATIONS

Every person who completes the workshop will be entitled to FREE telephone consultations for one year.
